Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all claims, ensuring that all relevant information is readily available.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, claims managers, and other relevant parties.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in claims handling, preferably in a motor insurance claims role.
  • Strong knowledge of claims handling procedures and legal regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external parties.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage complex claims issues.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of handling potentially fraudulent claims.
  • Knowledge of motor claims processes and procedures.
  • Ability to negotiate best possible settlements and make sound decisions.
