About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Care UK. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising your shift, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and supervising your shift to ensure the smooth delivery of care services
  • Case managing residents and liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure the best care plans are created and delivered
  • Administering and recording medication, as well as carrying out risk assessments
  • Working closely with care assistants to support residents with daily needs, ensuring they remain as active and independent as possible
  • Collaborating with the leadership team to develop services and improve the overall quality of care

About You:

  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care is desirable, but not essential
  • You must be well-organised, IT literate, and able to allocate and delegate work effectively
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise others, with a strong understanding of care planning processes
  • Experience in administering medication is essential, and you must be willing to undertake training if necessary
  • Above all, you must have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling
