Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Environmental Crime Prevention Officer to join our team at 3GS (UK) Limited. As an Environmental Crime Prevention Officer, you will play a critical role in protecting the environment and preventing environmental crime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patrol duties on foot and by car to deter crime and reassure the local community
  • Develop community knowledge to identify individuals and locations at risk of being affected by environmental crime
  • Work closely with local authorities, community groups, and individuals to provide engagement, education, and enforcement on behalf of those who want to reduce environmental crime
  • Conduct initial investigations, gather evidence, complete statements, and comply with relevant legal requirements
  • Prepare cases for court and present case files to senior officers and the local authority
  • Submit internal crime reports and criminal intelligence reports to support environmental crime reduction objectives
  • Enforce littering, dog fouling, and other environmental offenses as required
Requirements
  • A full UK driving licence is desirable for this role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
