Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Cardiac Nurse Specialist to join our team at Bupa. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cardiac services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement overall standard operational policies and procedures for Angiography services.
- Provide specialist clinical knowledge and practice skills in a broad range of cardiac, radiology, and vascular procedures.
- Assist in the role of scrub, circulatory, and recovery nurse as needed.
- Support specialized consultants' bodies with service delivery and resources within a multidisciplinary department.
- Manage the day-to-day performance of line reporting and contribute to strategic planning for the unit.
- Collaborate with the multi-professional team and provide direction and example for professional nursing practice.
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Registered General Nurse in a similar setting.
- Evidence to support a programme of personal, professional development.
- ALS (Desirable)
- Proven ability to manage resources effectively (Desirable)
- Able to perform a range of specialist diagnostic investigations on patients in a variety of clinical settings.
Qualifications:
- NMC Registered Nurse (First/Second level registration)
- Diploma/Degree in Health Studies
- Short course or diploma in Cardiology/Cardiothoracic Nursing or similar
- Undergraduate Degree in Nursing
