Category Management Associate

Resideo, a leading global company in Security, Fire, and Audio/Visual distribution, is seeking an Associate Category Manager to support the Category Manager in driving the strategy, product roadmap, and supplier relationships for a high-value category of products.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Category Manager to develop and execute effective marketing communications that drive category performance.
- Initiate requests to update the ERP system for changes to the stocking profile, product lifecycle, and cost pricing, ensuring necessary inventory actions to remove obsolete stock.
- Conduct market research on competitive product offerings, market pricing, and industry technology trends, working cross-functionally with Strategic Marketing, Pricing, Sales, Customers, and Vendors.
- Request stock balancing for IOS (Inactive, Obsolete, and Surplus) products and execute inventory liquidation strategies for related categories.
- Generate sales reporting, promotional effectiveness, inventory effectiveness, and gross margin reporting for related categories.
- Perform administrative duties and ad-hoc requests as assigned.
- Liaise with the sales function to understand market trends and customer needs.
- BS/BA Degree in Marketing/Business or 2+ years' work experience in a product/category management, product marketing, buying, or vendor management role.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in English language.
- A willingness to travel.
