About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Development Engineer to join our team at WithYouWithMe. As a Firmware Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex digital systems that meet challenging customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop firmware for complex digital systems using world-class facilities and tools.
  • Work with a team of experts to deliver firmware that meets customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and processes to ensure efficient delivery of work.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and ways of working.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in firmware development.
  • Ability to achieve full SC security clearance.
  • Strong knowledge of design tools such as Xilinx, TCL, Verilog, System Verilog, and UVM.
  • Experience with FPGA architectures such as Xilinx 7, Xilinx UltraScale, Intel (Altera), or Microsemi (Actel).
  • Strong understanding of fast interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, and JESD.
  • Experience with auto-generated code using model-driven engineering using Matlab and Simulink tools.
  • Ability to derive detailed FPGA/Firmware requirements and architecture from system requirements.
  • Strong understanding of structured approaches to FPGA/Firmware design (RTCA DO-254 or similar).
  • Knowledge of cryptography and anti-tamper techniques.
  • Experience with artificial intelligence, including machine learning and genetic algorithms.
  • Strong understanding of electronics test methods and equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in mixed-discipline teams.
