About the Role
The Royal Agricultural University is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Learning Resources Advisor to join its Digital Operations team. As a key member of the Library team, you will play a vital role in providing advice and learning support to students in searching for and evaluating learning resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and guidance to students on information literacy and digital skills
- Facilitate learner inductions and assist colleagues in processing print acquisitions and maintaining library stock
- Manage the inter-library loan service and contribute to the development of library user guides
- Support students with basic technical queries and provide assistance with digital tools and platforms
Requirements
- Experience in library systems and a deep understanding of how libraries operate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to a wide range of stakeholders
