Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Older Adult Clinical Psychology department in North Wales.

This is a permanent position that provides an exciting opportunity to make a real difference for people accessing Memory Assessment and Older People's Community Mental Health Services.

The successful candidate will provide specialist clinical input and support to both the Memory Assessment Service (MAS) multidisciplinary team and the Older People's Community Mental Health Team (OPMH CMHT).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver psychological and neuropsychological assessments, specialist pre and post-diagnostic counselling, psychological intervention, formulation, and group work.
  • Facilitate indirect intervention through training, supervision, and team formulation.
  • Attend clinical MDT, referral, business, and clinical leadership meetings.
  • Provide supervision to junior psychologists, assistants, and trainees.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to integrate and collaborate with MDT colleagues, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
