About The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Player Liaison Officer to join our team at City Football Group. As a key member of our football department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our players and staff, ensuring a seamless transition into local life.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Player Induction and Support: Develop and implement a comprehensive player induction pack, including all necessary information and resources for new players.
  2. Logistical Support: Assist with relocation requirements, including hotel bookings, travel arrangements, housing, and utility bills.
  3. Financial Support: Assist with the opening of bank accounts and applications for national insurance numbers.
  4. Language Support: Arrange English lessons for non-English-speaking players and develop a continuous learning program to enhance their language skills.
  5. Network Development: Establish a network of contacts to support players and staff in sourcing vehicles, organizing meetings, and arranging car insurance.
  6. Database Management: Maintain an up-to-date player database, including tracking passport expiry dates, visa expiry dates, and emergency contact details.
  7. Match Day Support: Assist with management off-field commitments, player match appearances, ticketing, and player family liaison.
  8. Emergency Support: Act as a point of contact for First Team Players and respond promptly to any emergencies.
Other Responsibilities
  1. Administration Support: Assist the 1st team administrator with all administration for the Vale Training Ground, Football Management, and support staff.
  2. Match Ticket Distribution: Assist with the distribution of football department match tickets for all Home and Away fixtures.
  3. Player Appearance Requests: Assist with all player appearance requests, ensuring the appropriate players are assigned to each request and are fully briefed.
  4. Security and Logistics: Work with the security team to attend to all visitors and contractors visiting the site, ensuring the contractor control logbook is completed.
  5. Player Merchandise Signing Sessions: Co-ordinate player merchandise signing sessions as required.
  6. Telephone Enquiries: Deal with telephone enquiries to the training ground as and when appropriate.
  7. Filing System: Maintain an appropriate and confidential filing system.
