Overview

A remarkable opportunity has emerged for a Financial Planning and Analysis Lead to join a publicly listed organization. In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to the financial strategic planning of the Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Strategic Team: Collaborate with the Group Planning and Strategic team to drive the preparation of financial data for external investor communications.
  • Month-End Reporting: Assist in the month-end closing process and reporting, conducting variance analysis to assess performance against the Group's financial plan.
  • Partnership: Work closely with Group FP&A Reporting and Analytics, Group Financial Control, and Divisional Finance teams.
  • Lead FP&A Processes: Oversee and manage the Financial Planning & Analysis processes, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Strategic Model Ownership: Take charge of the strategic planning model, utilizing business insights and scenario modeling to create financial models that inform commercial decision-making.
  • Capital Allocation: Direct the capital allocation and investment processes, including consolidation, reporting, and return on investment analysis.
  • M&A Support: Assist the Corporate Director with mergers and acquisitions activities, including financial due diligence for potential transactions.
  • Integration Management: Project manage the financial integration of acquisitions, acting as a liaison between the acquisition sponsor, Group finance, and operational finance teams.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Professional qualification (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in FP&A or finance business partnering, demonstrating a history of team management.
  • Proficiency in data modeling and the ability to simplify complex datasets.
  • A commercial mindset with the capability to influence senior stakeholders effectively.
