Catering Operations Supervisor - Full-time annualized contract.
As a Catering Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a designated food service area, reporting directly to a member of the management team.
- Effectively manage resources and costs associated with food and beverage inventory, personnel, and equipment, adapting to the dynamic needs of the business.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Implement and uphold health and safety standards in your work environment.
- Ensure adherence to cash handling protocols by all staff members.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and ensure all team members meet these expectations.
- Train, develop, and inspire staff to excel in various catering environments, utilizing up-selling techniques and understanding promotional activities.
- Manage resources effectively within the catering area, ensuring that staff skills are utilized and developed appropriately on a daily basis.
- Supervise a team of up to 10 employees within a catering unit, handling significant daily transactions.
- Plan and organize the setup for each event according to catering forecasts.
- Lead teams across various catering styles, including table service restaurants, innovative catering concepts, hospitality areas, cafes/bars, and large self-service restaurants.
