About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team at Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS FT. As a Catering Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational catering services of a designated catering site within the Estates and Facilities Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the catering service and address any catering issues
  • Responsible for deliveries, stock control, and cleanliness of stock areas
  • Daily supervision of Catering Facilities Operatives
  • Preparation, cooking, and presentation of food for patients, staff, and visitors
  • Ensure food and hygiene standards are met
  • Organise and prioritise own daily work plan
  • Deputise for the Catering Services Lead as needed
Requirements
  • GCSEs or good basic education
  • Catering qualifications 706 and 1&2 or NVQ Level 3
  • Hold or working towards Institute of Leadership & Management Qualification Level 3
  • NVQ Level 3 in Facilities Management or equivalent
  • Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Level 2 Award in Hazard Analysis Critical Control
