Environmental Advisor Job Opportunity

Company Overview: Navartis is a leading European tier 1 supplier for railway electrification.

Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Advisor to join our team and contribute to the implementation of environmental policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental strategies and action plans to reduce the organisation's environmental risks and costs.
  • Lead the implementation of environmental management systems, including ISO 14001.
  • Promote and raise awareness of emerging environmental issues and their impact on the organisation.
  • Write environmental reports and carry out impact assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Set organisational sustainability targets and develop plans to meet them.

Requirements:

  • Relevant environmental qualifications, such as NEBOSH Environmental or an Environmental Degree.
  • Experience of liaising with local authorities, the general public, and clients.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the rail or construction sector.
