Environmental and Sustainability Co-ordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking an Environmental and Sustainability Co-ordinator to join our Scotland team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Environmental team in maintaining full engagement in meeting business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake site inspections, record and report findings.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on targets, objectives, KPIs/EPIs, aspects and impacts inspection findings, audit findings, close-calls, incidents, complaints, carbon and energy, waste social value, etc.
  • Undertake risk assessments to ensure environmental risks are identified, communicated, recorded and addressed appropriately.
  • Assist in environmental incident and complaint investigations.
  • Ensure all works assigned by the Environment and Sustainability Manager are completed in a timely manner.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and best practice, and document achievements as sustainability case studies.
  • Any other duties required to facilitate project planning and management.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Flexibility to travel to different locations.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental and sustainability principles and practices. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
