Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Category Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team at Novus Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional to take their career to the next level and make a significant impact on our business.

About the Role

  • As a Senior Category Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for working closely with our commercial and development teams to support future development projects and provide vital consumer insight into future market trends.
  • You will have the opportunity to work in a flat structure, with exposure to our senior team and the chance to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
  • Our business is customer-facing, and you will work closely with our retailer contacts to drive business growth and innovation.
  • You will have the opportunity to work in one of the biggest product categories in the UK, with a focus on food and FMCG.
  • You will be responsible for getting under the skin of the category, working closely with commercial and NPD teams to drive business growth and innovation.
  • You will be an intuitive and analytical individual, able to interpret data and translate it into effective plans.
  • You will be a confident and effective communicator, able to work in both verbal and written forms.
  • Flexible working is an option, which is always a real attraction for our team members.

About You

  • You will have experience in marketing or commercial, with exposure to development and a strong understanding of the food and FMCG industry.
  • You will have excellent numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into effective plans.
  • You will be a good communicator, confident and able to work in both verbal and written forms.
  • You will have some customer-facing experience, with a strong understanding of the importance of building relationships with retailers.
  • You will be able to work to deadlines and prioritize effectively, with a strong attention to detail.
  • You will be qualified to degree level, with a strong understanding of marketing principles and practices.
