About the Role

We are seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in our schools across South Yorkshire.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced teachers and support staff to provide individualized support to students with varying disabilities.

Your role will involve assisting with lesson planning, delivering small group and one-to-one support, and contributing to the development of students' learning plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and support students with SEND in their learning
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to ensure a safe and productive learning environment
  • Manage student behavior and provide positive reinforcement
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements

We are looking for a graduate with a passion for supporting students with SEND. You will have a patient and understanding approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience working with children or adults with SEND is preferred but not essential. We offer training and support to help you develop your skills and knowledge.
