We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Team at M Group Services. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Commercial Management: Assist the Commercial Manager in the implementation of commercial strategies to maximize profit and minimize risk.
- Contract Administration: Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, and manage the preparation of reports and claims.
- Sub-Contract Management: Oversee the management of sub-contractors and suppliers, ensuring timely and compliant quotations and documentation.
- Financial Management: Assist in the production of monthly project financial and forecast reports, and contribute to the analysis of financial data.
- Communication and Liaison: Liaise with the Commercial Manager, Quantity Surveyors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, and a professional qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- Experience: Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management role, with a strong understanding of contract law and commercial principles.
- Skills: Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of commercial software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
