Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Finsbury Food Group. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products, from raw materials to finished goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements.
- Investigate consumer complaints and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including procedures, forms, and records.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Monitor and report on quality control metrics, including defect rates and customer complaints.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Food Hygiene certification.
- Level 2 HACCP certification.
- Competent in MS Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Trained Internal Auditor.
- Broad experience in the food industry, particularly in bakery manufacture.
- Experience working in a GMP environment.
- Strong awareness of allergen controls.
- Proven track record of continuous improvement and complaint investigation.
- Excellent team working, communication, and negotiating skills.
- Flexibility in working hours.
- Ability to challenge in a constructive manner.
- Persuasive and able to justify decision making in a constructive manner.
- Excellent investigation skills and able to present work in a professional verbal or written manner to relevant stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and confidence within their work with a persistence to get the job done.
