Nuffield Health is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Team Leader to join our Theatre Team at Cambridge Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Endoscopy Suite, ensuring the highest standards of care and patient satisfaction.

The Role

  • Contribute to service development, policy implementation, and strategy execution, working towards achieving JAG Accreditation.
  • Support individuals and teams to deliver high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with the Hospital Matron and Theatre Manager to lead the Endoscopy unit, ensuring seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Build strong relationships with consultants, hospital leaders, healthcare professionals, and patients, ensuring the best possible treatment and care.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council or HCPC, with postgraduate qualifications and extensive experience in managing endoscopy patients.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Global Rating Scale and JAG accreditation, with evidence of endoscopy competency through the JETS Workforce program.
  • Minimum 3 years' senior experience in a similar setting, with a strong track record of leadership, education, and mentoring.
  • Accountable for leading, motivating, educating, and supervising the Endoscopy Team, with a focus on business planning, development, audits, and clinical governance.
