ROLE SUMMARY
The Production Finisher is accountable to the Production Supervisor for the streamlined and effective functioning of their assigned area.

The Finishing department encompasses several critical tasks: including deburring, dressing, polishing, blasting, laser marking, and the assembly of Orthopaedic Instruments and Implants.

Materials frequently processed include Stainless Steel, Titanium, Aluminium, and Plastics.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following tasks, with additional duties assigned as necessary to meet business needs:


  • Deburring and Dressing of components
  • Polishing of finished products
  • Blasting surfaces
  • Application of Paint
  • Laser marking of items
  • Assembling components and ensuring all parts meet the highest standards and function as intended
  • Meeting production targets
  • Ensuring effective workflow in and out of the section
  • Adhering to safety protocols within the section
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the operational area
  • Following scheduled maintenance for section equipment
  • Upholding quality standards and compliance with work processes
  • Following the Company's Quality Assurance policies
  • Performing ad hoc tasks as required

GENERAL GUIDELINES

  • Foster a cooperative attitude towards all team members, promoting positive working relationships
  • Pay particular attention to colleagues in their section and other sections as directed by Management
  • Exhibit punctuality
  • Maintain effective working practices
  • Adhere to Company policies, including but not limited to, eating and drinking regulations, mobile phone and IT equipment usage
  • Implement relevant Health & Safety policies for their section
  • Monitor equipment within the section, identifying maintenance needs and informing management
