Job Summary

This leadership role focuses on driving Customer Experience Strategy through creativity, product innovation, technology, and system enhancements. The goal is to refine processes that achieve precise results for both existing and new customers, leading a dynamic global creative team alongside three regional design and development teams to foster design excellence, innovation, and elevate customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Strategy:
    • Provide visionary leadership for global and regional design teams, setting strategic directions based on customer segmentation and regional preferences to effectively meet diverse needs.
    • Develop and implement design strategies aligned with business objectives for both current and new customers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, R&D, technical, and operations, to integrate design thinking into all business aspects, ensuring design solutions that attract and engage new customers.
    • Promote a culture of innovation and collaboration across all design offices and the global design team.
  • Team Management & Culture:
    • Lead and mentor a global design team of 50 creatives, including designers, developers, 3D artists, graphic designers, innovators, and technical specialists, ensuring high performance and achievement of design objectives.
    • Set benchmarks for design quality and monitor output to meet desired results.
  • Design Excellence:
    • Oversee the development of innovative, customer-centric design concepts that differentiate products and services in the market.
    • Enhance presentation standards across design, product mood boards, digital presentations, and live meetings.
    • Ensure design initiatives consistently meet high-quality standards and contribute to high conversion rates.
  • Global Coordination:
    • Drive cohesive design strategies across regions while considering regional challenges and preferences.
    • Facilitate seamless communication, collaboration, and best practice sharing between regional and global design teams.
  • Elevate Client Experience & Proposals:
    • Strengthen creative team offerings across all categories and sectors through innovation and a deep understanding of client needs.
    • Conduct high-level meetings with clients' product and design teams.
  • Performance Monitoring & Technology Improvement:
    • Establish key performance indicators to measure design effectiveness on customer satisfaction, needs, and business conversions.
    • Analyse design performance data and feedback to continuously innovate and improve.
    • Implement advanced design tools, software, and technologies to optimise processes, reduce rework, and enhance team collaboration.
  • Travel:
    • Regular travel to regional design offices, key customer meetings, events, and inspiration trips.
