  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment within the site, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • React quickly to equipment breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected teams, and work efficiently to resolve issues.
  • Support and learn from senior reliability engineering technicians, developing expertise in maintenance and repair techniques.
  • Manage contractors and vendors, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Experience in fault finding on building equipment, including HVAC, dock doors, plumbing, and general building maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems and experience in interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines, with a strong understanding of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers, and inverters.
  • Ability to work in a non-traditional shift pattern, including nights and weekends, and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
