Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to manage our payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing payrolls, pensions, and other related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payrolls for various clients, including weekly, biweekly, and monthly payrolls, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Manage pension schemes, including understanding and processing different UK pension schemes.
  • Handle new starters and leavers, ensuring seamless onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Prepare and submit FPS and Intermediary reports, as well as payment files and banking uploads.
  • Process tax code changes and handle tax code queries for all clients.
  • Review, collate, and process timesheets, ensuring accurate payment and deductions.
  • Manage statutory pay and deductions, including SSP, SMP, and SPP.
  • Respond to payroll queries related to wages, deductions, and timesheets, providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in payroll processing, with end-to-end knowledge of Sage Payroll software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
