Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in the UK. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing cost estimation, procurement, and contract negotiation, ensuring project financial efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Financial Reporting: Conduct cost analysis and financial reporting throughout project lifecycles.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Project Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage project cash flows and budgets.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant construction regulations and legislation.
- Client Liaison: Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project targets are met.
- Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Experience: Extensive experience (5+ years) in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and best practices. Proficiency in cost management software and financial reporting tools. Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional Membership: Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is preferred.
- Driving License: Full UK driving license.
