Mental Health Support Worker Role Description

**Job Summary**

Gray Healthcare Ltd is recruiting a new team of mental health support workers to support an individual with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), severe speech and language difficulties, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) who is living independently in their own home with 2:1 support 24 hours a day.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide high-quality support to the individual with ASD, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met
* Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
* Support the individual with communication, including speech and language therapy
* Collaborate with the support team to ensure a safe and supportive living environment

**Requirements**

* Experience working with individuals with ASD and complex needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to providing high-quality support and care
