This role is an exciting opportunity to work within their Offshore Division, where marine/vessel SCM experience is essential.
As a Buyer, you will play a crucial role in supporting global operations by managing procurement and supply chain functions, ensuring the timely delivery of goods, services, and equipment for projects worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage procurement for assigned vessels, assets, or operational facilities
- Develop and implement expediting and logistics plans to ensure timely deliveries
- Follow established supply chain processes, utilizing systems to track performance metrics
- Assist in vendor selection, management, and performance assessment
- Procurement experience from an energy sector background, with a strong understanding of marine or vessel supply chain management
- Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft 365, and experience with SAP or SAP Ariba is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively at all levels
