Job Title: Neonatal Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse to join our team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. As a Neonatal Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to newborn infants requiring intensive, high, and special care.

About the Role

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to families and newborn infants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to newborn infants requiring intensive, high, and special care
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to families and newborn infants
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for newborn infants
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make adjustments as needed
  • Participate in education and training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in neonatal care
Requirements
  • Demonstrable post-registration experience in neonatal care
  • NMC registration
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development within the neonatal specialty
