About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Children's Home Registered Manager to lead our new children's home in Keighley. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for children and young people with EBD, LD, and challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the staff team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support
- Monitor and manage safeguarding concerns, working closely with the local authority and other agencies as necessary
- Work with the Regional Inspectorate (RI) to ensure the service is compliant and meets the home's statement of purpose
- Recruit, develop, and train staff to meet the needs of the service
- Manage the home's budget and resources to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in children and young people
- NVQ Level 5 in leadership and management
- Experience of managing a children's home or similar service
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families
