Job Description

As a Lead Cyber Security Advisor at Resillion, you will be instrumental in delivering expert guidance and consulting services to our clients, assisting them in overcoming intricate cyber security obstacles.

This position emphasizes business expansion, alongside significant duties in client engagement and internal skill enhancement.

You will be a vital contributor to fostering growth through collaboration with our sales team and other internal partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Development:

  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities to broaden our client portfolio.
  • Formulate and implement a strategic growth plan within the cyber advisory domain.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to craft persuasive proposals and presentations for prospective clients.

Client Engagement:

  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with key stakeholders across targeted sectors.
  • Conduct market analysis to pinpoint trends, threats, and opportunities in the cyber security field.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and seminars to network and showcase our offerings.

Industry Leadership:

  • Contribute to the creation of thought leadership content, including white papers, articles, and blog entries.
  • Present at conferences and webinars to position the firm as a frontrunner in the cyber advisory arena.
  • Stay informed about industry advancements and incorporate emerging trends into business development strategies.

Revenue Growth:

  • Develop and oversee a pipeline of prospective clients, ensuring a consistent influx of new business.
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements, ensuring advantageous terms for both the client and our organization.
  • Monitor and report on business development initiatives and results, providing regular updates to senior leadership.

Advisory Services:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, offering expert insights on cyber security strategies and solutions.
  • Manage ambiguity effectively to deliver clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Build enduring relationships with clients, establishing yourself as their primary expert for cyber security issues.

Solution Design:

  • Collaborate with clients to comprehend their specific challenges and devise customized cyber security solutions.
  • Utilize a consultative approach to identify and address clients' pain points, transcending standard assessments.
  • Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to co-create innovative security strategies and frameworks.

Project Management:

  • Lead and oversee multiple cyber security initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners (when necessary) to deliver cohesive and effective solutions.

Training and Development:

Design and implement cyber security training programs and workshops for clients.

  • Enhance clients' understanding of cyber threats and the significance of robust security practices.
  • Promote a culture of security awareness within client organizations.

Team Development:

  • Mentor and cultivate junior consultants, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and career trajectories.
  • Lead internal training sessions to disseminate knowledge and best practices within the team.
  • Encourage a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Continuous Enhancement:

  • Lead the broader technical teams towards a more consultative approach, ensuring all technical engagements align with the organization's consulting standards and practices.
  • Continuously refine internal methodologies, tools, and processes to improve service delivery.
  • Implement best practices in project management and client engagement to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Encourage the adoption of innovative technologies and techniques to stay ahead of industry trends.

Proposition Development:

  • Develop and refine distinctive cyber security propositions to set our organization apart from competitors.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to package and promote these propositions to the market.
  • Analyze competitor offerings and industry trends to ensure our propositions remain innovative and relevant.

Knowledge Sharing:

  • Develop and maintain a repository of cyber security knowledge, resources, and case studies.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration across the organization.
  • Lead efforts to standardize and document consulting practices and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is advantageous.
  • In-depth understanding of cyber regulations and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI, DORA, etc.).
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar are beneficial.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in cyber security, with a strong focus on both advisory and consulting roles.
  • Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading complex cyber security projects.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of cyber security principles, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Must have or be able to obtain and hold relevant security clearance.
