Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Adventure Activity Leader. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality outdoor activities and workshops to groups of children aged 7-14.

Key Responsibilities
  • Activity Delivery: Prepare and deliver engaging and challenging outdoor activities, focusing on participation, development, and enjoyment.
  • Group Leadership: Take a pastoral role as a group leader, supporting and caring for children throughout the week while promoting their welfare and best interests.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to, including health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other staff members to deliver a high-quality experience for children.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and able to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience within outdoor education and working with children.
  • Qualifications: Relevant degree or equivalent experience, and ideally qualified or studying towards NGB qualification in adventurous activities.
  • Skills: Excellent organisational and leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a group of children.
