Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cleaning Support Assistant to join our team at Bradford Council. As a Cleaning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning services to our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake all varied cleaning duties within the specified location, including but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities management team.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities maintenance role is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy cleaning equipment and supplies.
