About the Role


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lift Service Engineer to join our team at Northampton Business Directory. As a Lift Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' lifts and elevators, providing top-notch maintenance and repair services to meet their needs.


Main Responsibilities


  1. Carry out routine servicing, call outs, and minor repairs on all types of electrical and hydraulic lifts and elevators.
  2. Complete maintenance schedules in accordance with agreed service contracts.
  3. Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota to ensure prompt response to client needs.

Requirements


  1. Ideal candidate will hold NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a lift engineering discipline.
  2. Self-motivated and customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
  3. Valid driving license and ability to work at heights.
  4. DBS checks will be carried out due to the nature of some client sites.
  5. Basic computer knowledge and ability to use customer log-on systems and company electronic devices.
  6. Prepared to participate in callout duties as part of the nightcall rota team.
