About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Actuarial Graduate Scheme/Trainee Actuary to join our Retirement team at Willis Towers Watson. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing actuarial services to our clients, helping them to manage their pension schemes and ensure that their benefits meet the needs of all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our clients to understand their pension scheme needs and provide expert advice on scheme design, funding, risk management, governance, administration, and communication.
  • Conduct actuarial valuations and provide recommendations on scheme funding and risk management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, understanding their business objectives and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with our team of experienced actuaries and consultants to deliver high-quality services to our clients.
  • Study for and obtain professional actuarial qualifications, including the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) exams.
What You'll Need
  • A 2:1 degree in a numerate discipline or a non-numerate discipline with A-Level Maths at grade A/B (or equivalent qualifications).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A strong desire to learn and develop your skills and knowledge in the field of actuarial science.
