Position Overview:
Conrad Consulting Ltd is seeking a skilled Cost Estimator to join a prominent residential development firm on a permanent basis.

Our client manages multiple projects across various regions, and the successful candidate will oversee 2 to 3 developments concurrently.


As a vital member of the commercial team, reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, we are looking for an individual with proven experience in a comparable position, preferably within the residential construction sector (though candidates from all sectors are welcome). The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively with broader commercial and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop cost forecasts and assess the value of all trades.
2. Monitor and report on budget savings and overruns.
3. Manage supply chain and subcontractor expenses efficiently.
4. Assist in preparing and submitting monthly financial reports.
5. Allocate upcoming tasks to contractors while fostering existing relationships.
6. Identify, manage, and report on project expenditures.
7. Compile information and prepare detailed reports.

Candidate Profile:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in cost estimation within the construction field.
2. Experience across multiple trades.
3. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative.
4. Excellent time management abilities.
5. Outstanding organizational skills.
