Job Title: ICT Lead Technical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled ICT Lead Technical Specialist to join our Information Systems (IS) team at Oxford Biomedica. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and supporting the use of IFS and future GxP systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain IFS and GxP systems to ensure operational effectiveness and compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and recommend solutions for IFS and GxP systems.
  • Work with vendors to manage technical operating environments and ensure smooth transitions to future systems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IFS and GxP systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of IFS changes and developments.
Requirements:
  • Degree-level education in Software Development, Life Sciences, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with IFS version 9, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Strong knowledge of permission sets, user-based profiles, and troubleshooting system issues.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan the implementation of a backlog of work.
  • Strong foundation in relevant programming languages and frameworks, including Python and SQL.
  • Knowledge and understanding of an Oracle Database and services.
