About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Category Manager to join our team at Russell Taylor Group Ltd. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an IT category strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an IT category strategy that aligns with our business objectives
  • Work closely with the category management team to ensure effective category management practices
  • Document and update the department risk register to ensure all risks associated with IT category management are identified and mitigated
  • Ensure all savings and value are tracked through SAP ARIBA
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to provide insights into IT category performance
  • Engage with 3rd party stakeholders and oversee stakeholder engagement to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Influence stakeholders associated with the IT category of spend to drive business value
Requirements
  • Relevant CIPS certification
  • Technical or business degree
  • 7-10 years of purchasing experience in a related role, preferably in IT
  • Proven track record in negotiation and supplier relationship management
  • ERP systems knowledge, including SAP and SAP ARIBA
