Job Title: Principal Engineer – Electrical (Control & Instrumentation)

Salary: Competitive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex integrated process control systems, ensuring compliance with legislative, safety, and technical requirements
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers as part of the technical team, providing specialist advice and support
  • Communicate technical information clearly, logically, and simply, articulating and presenting technical arguments effectively
  • Lead and develop a small team of Control and Instrumentation engineers, executing and evaluating complex engineering tasks and programmes
  • Identify opportunities for personal and team development, ensuring the professional capability of the business and individual is maintained and improved

Requirements:

Essential:

  • STEM degree or equivalent qualification and experience within an engineering background
  • Demonstrable experience of engineering lifecycle phases and technical specialities
  • Significant experience producing and communicating design documentation and artefacts relating to Control Systems
  • Experience developing solutions to meet complex technical requirements in a highly regulated industry/environment
  • Obtained or capable of obtaining relevant Professional Registration (CEng)
