Retail Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced and talented Store Manager to join our team at Edge of the World Ltd, a leading fashion retail franchise operator. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the highest level of customer service and sales performance in our Weird Fish store in Ambleside.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Inspire and motivate your team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Store Operations: Oversee store pricing, stock control, and visual merchandising to ensure a compelling and engaging shopping experience.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Sales Performance: Set and achieve sales targets, and motivate your team to meet and exceed them.
- Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is well-maintained, clean, and safe for customers and staff.
- Communication: Liaise with head office and other stores to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Edge of the World Ltd is a highly successful and growing privately owned family business with a turnover in excess of £3.5m. We operate eight stores, including Joules, Weird Fish, and Joe Browns franchises. Our team enjoys working in a friendly and positive environment where they can make a real difference and have opportunities for advancement.
