Evening Support Specialist

We offer both full-time and part-time shifts, with flexible hours available, including every other weekend.

A night shift premium of £1.50 per hour will be applicable from 8pm to 7am, Monday through Sunday (this does not apply to sleep-in shifts). Additionally, a weekend day premium of £2.00 per hour will be provided from 7am to 8pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Fryers House, located in the charming town of Romsey, accommodates 24 adults with physical disabilities. This facility has received a 'Good' rating from CQC.

Previous experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, or in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory. We provide a comprehensive training and onboarding program for all new team members.

As a Support Worker with Leonard Cheshire, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team. Each day presents unique challenges and opportunities, and here are some of the responsibilities you will undertake:

  • Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, medication management, and meal support.
  • Accompanying and aiding individuals both within the service and during external events and appointments.
  • Promoting a Person-Centered approach, fostering independence among our clients, and supporting them in achieving their personal goals.
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.
