We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the governance, leadership, and delivery of the Mental Health Support Team (MHST) model within identified schools and colleges.
This will involve considering outcomes and caseload flow to ensure a robust and continually improving approach to promoting the development, welfare, and wellbeing of children and young people and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the team in developing whole school and college approaches to mental health
- Oversight of supervision requirements and delivery to team members, ensuring adherence to the MHST model
- Delivery of services responsive to local and national directives and need, promoting a learning culture that leads to improved service delivery and robust clinical governance
- Provision of high-quality specialist clinical psychological interventions and services to service users
- Specialist psychological formulation, assessment, and therapy, offering advice and consultation on service users' psychological care to colleagues from other disciplines
- Support the psychological assessment and therapy provided by other clinicians, working autonomously within professional guidelines
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues and operational and transformational leads to contribute to service development and achieve service goals
- Providing clinical supervision to other psychological services staff, including qualified psychologists, trainee and assistant psychologists, CBT Therapists, and Education Mental Health Practitioners
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
They will also have experience in developing and implementing mental health initiatives, as well as providing clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff members.
