Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust. As a key member of our Community Eating Disorder Service, you will work closely with colleagues to provide psychological assessment, care planning, and community treatment for individuals aged 18 and above.
Your expertise in working with people with eating disorders will be invaluable in helping us deliver high-quality care to our patients. You will also have the opportunity to participate in personal CPD and provide training to the eating disorders team and wider service.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop effective care plans for individuals with eating disorders.
- Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions.
- Provide consultancy and supervision to colleagues, promoting best practice and supporting the development of the team.
- Contribute to service audit and evaluation, ensuring that our services are meeting the needs of our patients.
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives, driving innovation and excellence in our field.
- Doctoral-level qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, with eligibility for Chartered Psychologist status.
- Training in assessment and treatment of eating disorders patients.
- Substantial experience in delivering psychological therapy, with a focus on eating disorders.
- Ability to assess general mental health and psychopathology, including risk assessment.
- Awareness of NICE guidelines and other relevant national policies/legislation for the assessment and treatment of eating disorders.
