About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Paediatric Nurse to take on a leadership role within our team. You will be working on Gwdihw Ward, which provides care for children requiring pre and post-operative surgery, and is also the major trauma centre for Wales.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to children requiring surgical care
- Contribute to the development of our nursing practice and lead small teams within the ward
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Participate in education and training initiatives to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Current clinical experience and knowledge in Paediatric nursing
- Understanding of governance and quality improvement principles
- Ability to impart knowledge and teach staff, patients, and families
- Organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently
