Howdens Joinery Co. is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Reliability Team at our manufacturing site in East Yorkshire. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing improvement projects and initiatives to drive gains in manufacturing safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Planning team to achieve Maintenance Excellence objectives.
- Support the implementation of group standards and contribute to their development.
- Offer coaching and support to implement effective Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques.
Requirements:
- Time served Electrical Engineer or Automation/Controls Apprenticeship or a minimum of HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Ability to respond to changing priorities, displaying planning and organisation skills.
- Committed to root cause analysis and proactive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Able to foster teamwork to maximise the effectiveness of the relationship between Engineering and Operations, bringing about performance improvements across the site.
- IT skills, including interfacing with PC-controlled machinery and working with preventative maintenance and SAP-based store systems.
