We are seeking a Meetings & Events Coordinator who will support the Events & Reservations team in converting and optimizing hotel and event inquiries to enhance revenue.

Your responsibilities will include building strong relationships with clients through regular communication via phone, email, and in-person meetings. You will also be proactive in gathering client feedback and identifying sales opportunities. All bookings will be managed through our internal system, ensuring written confirmations and function sheets are accurately prepared.

Given the nature of this position, it is essential to have experience in Reservations, Groups, Meetings & Events. Whether your background is in hotel operations or sales administration, this role could be a great fit for you.

To excel as a Meetings & Events Coordinator, you will need to:

  • Effectively manage inquiries to maximize sales, occupancy, and revenue, including upselling equipment, food & beverage, and relevant hotel services.
  • Accurately input all inquiries into the Sales and Catering system.
  • Compile precise function sheets, distributing them weekly and coordinating with the Operations Team as needed.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve departmental objectives and budget goals.
  • Address prevention, recovery, and investigation of any complaints.
  • Communicate with clients to gather accurate details for each event and reservation.
  • Consistently provide excellent service to all guests and clients making inquiries or bookings.
  • Identify client requirements and determine how the hotel can meet their needs.
  • Respond to all Meetings & Events inquiries in accordance with company standards.
