Behaviour Support Mentor Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Mentor to join our team at a SEN school in Romford. As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH) in a special unit.

The Role:

  1. Supporting SEN students in a special unit
  2. De-escalating situations and working cooperatively with staff
  3. Liaising with teachers, the pastoral team, and the behaviour support team
  4. Implementing programmes to prevent recurrence of negative behaviour
  5. Working closely with families, carers, and external agencies

Requirements:

  1. Experience of supporting children and young people with behaviour needs
  2. Resilience, a positive mindset, and a willingness to take on challenges
  3. Legal right to work in the UK
