We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Project Controls Manager to become a vital part of our expanding team.
The successful candidate will integrate into our dynamic Project Controls division, collaborating with a diverse clientele to implement top-tier Controls, Planning, Analytics, Reporting, Risk Management, Change Management, Resource Allocation, and Performance Management solutions across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing Project Controls for significant infrastructure projects.
- Leading the programme controls function, ensuring precision and uniformity in plans, costs, safety, environmental considerations, and performance metrics, while effectively deploying team resources.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Evaluating new project proposals to ensure that achievable and resourceful plans are established for programme delivery.
- Identifying resource needs to support the programme and coordinating with planning teams to address any resourcing challenges.
- Providing consistent support to Programme and Project Managers in reporting on plans, costs, safety, environmental factors, and overall programme performance.
- Ensuring that data entered by project teams into cost and performance systems adheres to established data standards.
- Managing the creation of the Investment Plan in compliance with the Investment Competence Framework.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in executing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and analysis.
- Background in the construction infrastructure sector, particularly in projects related to defence, rail, aviation, highways, nuclear, power, energy, and water.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in PC operating systems and various basic software applications.
- Familiarity with discipline-specific software applications such as Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office, with an intermediate understanding of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of engineering and construction management principles.
