Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Planner to undertake duties within our Manchester based, Infrastructure, Project Controls team, supporting projects across the energy, defence, rail, airports, highways, water and utilities sectors.

The Senior Planner will work as part of our Project Controls team on high-profile infrastructure projects, providing performance reporting and analysis support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop work breakdown structures and robust performance baselines in collaboration with cost and planning engineers.
  • Establish progress and cost monitoring methods to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Produce project control reports and provide performance analysis and recommendations for our clients.
  • Support Programme Controls Management, Earned Value (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, Project Controls and PMO activities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a project controls environment within the infrastructure sector (Energy, Defence, Rail, Airports, Highways, Water / Utilities).
  • Experience in at least one of the following: Programme Controls Management, Earned Value (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, Project Controls and or PMO.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Rigorous in following documented processes and governance.
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to innovate in creative ways to meet the challenges of the changing project environment.
