Key Responsibilities
- Process payment requests in a timely and accurate manner to ensure efficient financial services.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve invoice and payment queries, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring prompt resolution.
- Post payments and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Reconcile supplier statements and credit control accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Manage aged ledger items, ensuring timely payment and minimizing financial risks.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and project work, contributing to the development of efficient financial processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, ensuring easy access to financial records.
- Assist with internal billing queries, providing prompt and accurate responses to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Review monthly transactions in line with month-end reporting, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Maintain accurate financial allocations between divisions, ensuring transparency and compliance with financial regulations.
- Resolve queries related to overdue invoices and supplier statement reconciliations, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing financial risks.
- Prepare and distribute internal reports, providing valuable insights into financial performance.
- Produce and distribute remittance advices, ensuring timely and accurate communication with suppliers.
- Update and maintain supplier contact and master data records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
Requirements
- Hold full right-to-work in the UK and have prior experience in accounts payable within a UK finance function.
- Have the ability to understand and process financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
