About the Role

Wayman Education is currently in search of an EYFS teacher to join a reputable primary school. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement engaging learning activities in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Create and sustain a warm and stimulating educational environment.
  • Assess and monitor each child's progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Maintain detailed records of student development and achievements.
  • Foster effective communication with parents, colleagues, and senior staff.
  • Engage in staff meetings, parent-teacher discussions, and ongoing professional development.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with a strong academic background.
  • A degree in education with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Familiarity with the EYFS Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Experience in a classroom setting, particularly with young learners.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills.
  • A collaborative approach to working with other educational professionals.
  • A genuine passion for children's education and development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building positive relationships.
