About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Team Leader to join our Residential Children's Team at The Cambian Group. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to children and young people, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of support workers in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people
  • Develop and implement individual care plans to meet the needs of each child or young person
  • Work closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home
  • Provide supervision and guidance to support workers to ensure they are equipped to provide the best possible care
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the home is a safe and supportive environment for all
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a residential care setting, preferably in a leadership role
  • Qualifications in childcare or a related field, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, young people, and colleagues
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
  • Full UK driving license, as travel may be required
